Professor Andrea Maier will begin with an introduction to Frailty and Sarcopenia, how to diagnose, relevant measurements, how to treat and prevent and why we need a targeted approach. A Dietitian will then present on the importance of protein for older people, the current recommendations and the recommended protein intake for an older person with Sarcopenia, as well as practical ways to increase protein in an older persons diet.
