Christchurch inner city practice, High Street Medical Centre's doctors and staff consider themselves lucky to have suffered no loss of life in the quake. Dr Shelley Louw says they had colleagues from The Clinic working alongside them at their practice after the September quake, and they very sadly relocated to the CTV building only two weeks ago.
The High Street Medical Centre is facing an uncertain future and will need to relocate to new premises. The evacuation has left them without any equipment, not even a stethoscope. You can help by selling or donating any equipment you have spare to the High Street Medical Centre. Dr Shelley Louw will be in Auckland until Thursday this week. Please contact her by email.
If there are other Christchurch practices in a similar position, please contact us and we will be happy to publicise what you need.
