College host Chinese delegates

Last Monday, the College hosted a delegation form the Gansu Province in China. Comprising Professor Guo, Professor Yan, Dr Zhang and Ms Mao accompanied by their senior administration team from the public health arena.

China is rapidly developing its community medical services and is interested in understanding service delivery in New Zealand, including the training of general practitioners and how practices are organised and conduct their daily activities.

Interim CEO Jane O’Hallahan, Principal Advisor Quality and Safety Maureen Gillon, and Advisor Education and Assessment Sue Domanski, presented to the group on training, standards and accreditation in New Zealand.
