Consumer Liaison Committee

Committee members:

 Mrs Bev Clark (Chair) 

Wanaka resident and marriage celebrant, Bev is a retired Southland farmer and former board member of the Southern Regional Health Authority and Heath Funding Authority, former Chair of Central Otago Health Services.

 Dr Ros Gellatly Blenheim GP and the representative of the College Council, Ros is the GP Liaison with the Wairau Hospital, and has special interests in sexual health, with Doctors for Sexual abuse care (DSAC), Family Planning Association and is a panel member for Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal. An interim PHO board member, Ros also has a passing interest in acupuncture and counselling.
 Winifred Bull Former nurse, midwife and health services manager. Now a Martinborough wine producer (The Cabbage Tree Vineyard)
 Linda Hall Thorpe Mana, involved in iwi development at governance and operational levels, and in setting up educational employment opportunities within the health sector
 Joy Rogers (nee LaNauze) Aucklander, currently fulltime mother, town planner, community group involvement, thyroid cancer survivor.
 Kenneth Talbot Retired from general practice after a stroke in 1989, advocates for disability issues at local and national level; on national executive for Disabled Persons Assembly, and disability advisory committee of South Canterbury DHB.

The College’s Chief Executive and Director, GP Support & Advocacy are also members of the committee, which meets six times each year.
