The College of GPs’ focus is on improving the health of all New Zealanders. We do this by supporting our GPs to provide the best quality practice they can for you and your family. To better hear your voice, we gathered together a representative group as our Consumer Liaison Committee.
They report regularly to the College Council on their view of the issues facing primary care, and what the College should be doing about it. Sometimes we ask for specific feedback on a topic, to ensure we are heading in the right direction.
Chair of the committee is Wanaka (Central Otago) resident and marriage celebrant Mrs Bev Clark, who also chairs Central Otago Health Services. A retired Southland farmer and former board member of the Southern Regional Health Authority and Heath Funding Authority.
