Contract Maps Website

The Ministry of Health and National Health Board have contributed information regarding external contracts to a Ministry of Social Development Google Maps based website (http://map.contractmapping.co.nz) which went live last Wednesday 23 February 2011.

The purpose of this website is to offer more transparency and accountability in the services funded by the Government. Information on external contracts has been provided by the following Government Agencies:

  • Ministry of Education
  • Ministry of Health
  • Ministry of Justice
  • Ministry of Social Development

GPs have been excluded from the groups on the website to alleviate concerns about public access to sensitive details.
