The CORNERSTONE General Practice Accreditation Programme Enters Exciting New Phase of Development

CORNERSTONE is about to change to better meet the needs of present day general practice. 

CORNERSTONE has been a formal programme within the RNZCGP (the College) since 2004. It was developed from a quality improvement and assurance philosophy. CORNERSTONE and the RNZCGP Maintenance of Professional Standards (MOPS), together with quality processes driven by Primary Health Organisations, Networks and DHBs, provide an integrated package to achieve successful quality improvement in the health care system.

Exciting changes are afoot with the CORNERSTONE programme, and the associated Aiming for Excellence – The Standard for General Practice.
