The importance of the patient narrative - Their stories are not always told in text book language
On page 11 of this issue you will see an article on ePortfolios. The College is currently looking into providing ePortfolios to our members. While we are in the development phase we would love to hear from you via the College forum about what you would like to see included.
On Friday 16 December many of the College staff are moving desks so members may experience some difficulties if trying to make contact by telephone. We apologise in advance for any in convenience caused. We will be available through email as usual.

Thank you to those who have already completed the College's short online survey on the redirection of 'Diabetes Get Checked'. We have had over 90 responses with good robust feedback for the larger DHBs. More responses from GPs, nurses and other practice staff from the smaller DHBs would enable us to provide feedback to them also.
To have your say and to put forward suggestions as to what diabetes initiatives DHBs should fund, you can complete the short online survey here.
The Ministry of Health has now posted an update on the redirection of 'Diabetes Get Checked' funding on their website.
