GPEP1 Kicks Off Next Week

The College is pleased to announce that 132 new registrars will start the General Practice Education Programme Stage 1 (GPEP1) next Monday. A total of 175 applications were received, 11 applicants withdrew before interview and 144 were offered a GPEP1 place. Of these, 132 accepted the offer. We hope that as many as possible of the 12 who turned it down will reapply next year.

With such a large group of registrars, the College has been busy recruiting and training new teachers, and getting new medical educators on-board. We have a strong team of GPs to deliver the programme, backed by dedicated and expert professional develoment staff. It's going to be a great year!
