Liverpool Care Pathway

The Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP) for the dying patient is becoming established in New Zealand as a clinical support tool for those involved in the care of the imminently dying in community and residential settings. General Practitioners play a key role in providing this care and therefore increasingly in the use of LCP.

The National LCP Expert Advisory Group is undertaking a survey of GPs use of LCP to gain insight into their perspectives of its value and an understanding of the challenges GPs face in caring for dying patients and their families/whanau. It is envisaged that the survey will provide information on how the National LCP Office and local LCP facilitators can better support GPs in the use of the LCP.

Your participation in this on-line survey is greatly appreciated. The survey is anonymous and will take no more that five minutes to complete. Access the survey here.
