The Ministry of Health (MOH) is calling for nominations/applications for the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) health statutory authority.

Nomination/Application Form

The MCNZ vacancies are for two health practitioners and three lay members. Candidates should have:

  • the ability to critically analyse material
  • the capacity to work well in a meeting setting
  • sufficient time and energy to complete the reading and attendance as required.

The Council is seeking general practitioners with an understanding of Maori heritage and an interest in rural health.
