Proposed new rules for RNZCGP and Special General Meeting to consider them

RNZCGP (the College) is kicking off 2012 with one of the most important activities of the year, the presentation of proposed new rules for the College and the holding of a Special General Meeting (SGM) to consider them.

The College rules have been under review for some time and gone through many iterations as we have consulted with Members, made draft amendments and then sought further feedback.

The proposed rules have been written in plain English and propose, amongst other changes, the adoption of a more modern governance structure and a smaller representative governance body.

In this question and answer session (in the member only section below) I will endeavour to highlight the changes that are being made, to explain how the SGM will work and to answer other questions that Members may have on this important topic.
