The new Executive Leadership Team at Nelson Marlborough DHB includes a mix of clinicians from hospital and general practice including RNZCGP Fellows; Neil Whattaker, Jocy Wood, Bev Nicolls and Elizabeth Wood, all of whom have been involved with the RNZCGP's General Practice Education Programme. Chief Executive John Peters said, "The team now embraces broad clinical experience and coverage, which we have not had working at this level of DHB leadership in the past". The restructure, announced in June, will come into operation on November 1, 2010.
