PHARMAC Open Access to Atorvastatin

A 90% price reduction is enabling PHARMAC to provide open access to atorvastatin, which had previously been available under Special Authority. Lorstat will be funded alongside the Lipitor brand from 1 August 2010 with no restrictions and will become the sole subsidised brand from 1 December.
