The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners

The Postgraduate Rural programme has been expanded. The College is now able to offer three month runs in rural general practice, provincial general practice and rural hospitals to PGY2 and PGY3 doctors. Health Workforce New Zealand is funding 50 places per year.  If you know of a junior doctor who may be interested in gaining fantastic community experience in a supported environment, ask them to contact Lana Henderson, the Team Leader for this programme.
