Radius Rototuna is a newly established centre combining general practice with accident and medical facilities.
There are 6 doctors and practice nurses with onsite X-ray and Ultrasound, Physiotherapy and Podiatry. A laboratory collection surgery and pharmacy are within the centre.
The Centre is part of the new shopping complex at Rototuna in North East Hamilton and is open 7 days a week from 8am until 8pm and is ACC accredited.
Clinics are run for Mole mapping, Exercise cardiography, Diabetes Management, Fracture management and Wound Management. A Minor surgery list typically compromising skin flaps, vasectomy, circumcision and skin grafting is performed weekly.
Radius Medical is strongly committed to make the registrar’s attachment memorable and rewarding at the cutting edge of General Practice in New Zealand.
The registrar would be expected to work 3 8 hour days and a half day. One weekend day a month with a day off in lieu.
There would be occasional home visits and palliative care visits. Minor surgical sessions are booked each week.
