Research and Education Charitable Trust

Mission and vision

The Research and Education Charitable Trust’s goal is to foster research and education that will be beneficial to general practitioners and their patients, and continuously improve New Zealand’s primary health care system.

The Trust meets four times a year preceding each Council meeting and considers the funding applications from general practitioners, medical students and academics  under the three categories of Summer Studentship, Travel Grant and Research Grant.

A little goes a long way

The funding for successful grants comes directly from the $10 levy that each Full Member pays as part of the annual subscription dues.
