2017 Election – Board member of the College

Dr Api Talemaitoga’s three-year term as an elected member of the Board will be completed at the Annual General Meeting on 29 July 2017. He is eligible to stand for a further three-year term.

Voting, which is done under the single transferable vote system (STV) will begin on Friday 30 June 2017 until 26 July 2017, and will be done electronically. ​

A copy of the College Rules, stating who may hold office in the College and who may vote (Rule 9) and the election process (Rule 18) is available on the College website.

Prior to the election period, the College will provide eligible voters with:
- a list of all candidates;
- voting instructions, including how votes may be cast; and
- information about each candidate for each post.

Timeline
26 May Call for nominations for one Board member.
16 June Last day for the receipt of nominations 
30 June Election begins.
26 July Voting period closes, two clear days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
29 July Annual General Meeting and announcement of the election of the Board member
