Managing Multimorbidity

Managing Multimorbidity
Diabetes and setting priorities among comorbidities (Recorded webinar)
Chronic diseases are the leading cause of death in Australia and New Zealand and multimorbidity is the “norm”, not the exception among patients with chronic disease. Increased risk of adverse events due to polypharmacy, depression and functional impairment are just some of the burdens of multimorbidity on the patient if gaps in primary care practice are not addressed.

This on-demand webinar, “Diabetes and setting priorities among comorbidities”, which is the first of the Managing Multimorbidity Webinar Series for primary care providers, features Clinical Associate Professor Gary Kilov (The University of Melbourne, Department of General Practice) and Emeritus Professor Mieke van Driel (General Practice Clinical Unit, The University of Queensland) in a case-based discussion.
