Four 20 minute talks by 4 Auckland Eye Ophthalmologists on diagnosis and treatment of common eye conditions that GP's patients present with:

1. Lights in the eyes - discussion of the different visual phenomena and their causes.
2. Easy Cornea for GP’s. 
3. Common eyelid lesions
4. Neuro-ophthalmic conditions; visual loss with no obvious external signs.

Learning outcomes:

Knowledge of the diagnostic pathways and what signs to look for when conducting an ophthalmic examination. Attendees will be sent a link to the Auckland Eye Manual - a comprehensive ophthalmology diagnostic tool. The manual includes 10 flowcharts covering the most common signs and symptoms.

The “Ophthalmology for GP’s” webinar activity, has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 1.5 CME credits for the General Practice Educational Programme (GPEP) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes.
