Kate trained as doctor in Manchura, China and has more than 20 years’ experience working in the health sector, with a career that includes a range of clinical, corporate and governance roles. Before joining the College Kate spent time as the executive director of clinical services at Wellington Free Ambulance, director of corporate services for Mary Potter Hospice, and surgical services manager of Otago DHB.
General Manager, Membership Services
Fellow and president of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand, Katie brings 20 years’ experience in non-government and government sector public relations to her role as head of membership services.
General Manager, Learning
Joe has lifelong interest in learning and development. His previous roles were with Master Plumber, Gasfitters and Drainlayers NZ Inc, director of professional development at the NZ Institute of Financial Advisers and the NZ Institute of Accountants, director of liberal studies at Boston Architectural College and education manager at the NZ Institute of Architects.
With experience in Te Puni Kōkiri - Ministry of Māori Development and time as CEO of Te Ohu Rata o Aotearoa (Te ORA) - Māori Medical Practitioners Association, Terina has her roots firmly planted in health and Māori heritage.
