The first city in the world to see the sun, Gisborne is famous for its beautiful coastline, densely forested mountain parks, surfing, fishing, and as a centre for wine and agriculture.

The local College Faculty
All College members belong to a regional faculty offering social and learning events, and providing peer support. Registrars who choose to train in Gisborne will be signed up to the Tairawhiti Faculty.
