Become an assessor
Join the College in the promotion of continued quality improvement as an assessor for the Foundation and/or Cornerstone programmes.
Becoming an assessor provides extensive opportunities for ongoing professional development, gaining unique insights into diverse contexts of general practice within Aotearoa New Zealand, as well as providing recognition of your expertise in the health sector.
The College encourages healthcare professionals with relevant qualifications and working in general practice to become quality assessors. As a College-endorsed assessor, there is an expectation that you can assess clinical and non-clinical aspects of the College's Quality programmes.
Please note, we are currently not accepting any assessor applications for Foundation Standard and/or Cornerstone modules. This section, and the training schedule, will be updated once applications open.
We are currently not accepting expressions of interest for the Foundation Standard assessor training programme.
