What are resuscitation activities?

The term ‘resuscitation’ is used to describe a type of CPD activity designed to enhance practitioners’ knowledge and skills in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Who must do resuscitation?

Fellows and registrars of the College are required to hold a current ACLS certificate (not older than three years). Dual and Division of Rural Hospital Medicine (Division) Fellows must also hold current certificate(s) (not older than three years) in emergency medicine skills as appropriate to their needs.

Criteria

All doctors are expected to train to a level appropriate to their situation.
