Timed to lead into World Sepsis Day, this webinar focuses on recognising and responding to sepsis in everyday healthcare settings.

It begins with a powerful account from Geoff, a farmer and sepsis survivor, who will share his personal experience of illness, hospitalisation and recovery.

Dr Paul Huggan, infectious disease and acute medicine physician and co-founder of the Sepsis Trust, will then present the latest evidence on sepsis, red flag symptoms, practical assessment tools and culturally responsive approaches to care. He will also introduce the brand-new HQSC sepsis quality improvement package.

Designed for those working in general practice, urgent care, aged residential care and hospital settings, this session will enhance your confidence in identifying and responding to sepsis early.

Paul brings global clinical expertise and a strong research focus on sepsis outcomes in Aotearoa.
