This webinar introduces updated clinical guidelines and a nationwide rollout to support pipelle biopsy and Mirena insertion in primary care. • New national guidelines for AUB - Learn about the updated clinical advice, including why pipelle biopsy is now the first-line investigation for those with risk factors for endometrial cancer.
• What’s normal? - Understand what constitutes normal versus abnormal menstrual bleeding to support timely and appropriate assessment.
• Early detection and risk assessment -Endometrial cancer is increasingly seen in Maori and Pacific women under 45 —often diagnosed late. Learn how to assess risk early, including the impact of comorbidities like diabetes and obesity.
• Primary care rollout - Explore the practical rollout of pipelle biopsy and Mirena insertion, including training and support for primary care teams.
