Dr Elizabeth Glanville will outline the initial investigation and diagnosis of PCOS in primary care, referring to the most up-to-date guidelines. She will cover the initial management strategies in primary care and when to refer to secondary care, as well as fertility treatment options and cover long-term health sequelae of PCOS.
Pessary Skills
Dr Niki Dykes will provide an overview of pessary use, including which patients are appropriate for pessary use, how to assess prolapse and fit a patient with a pessary, what pessaries to use in what patients, and how to manage complications.
