Organisation and leadership
Pro-equity practice teams have an explicit commitment to health equity outcomes. They have knowledgeable staff that are trained in health equity in a general practice context and have health equity embedded into their governance and management.
Te hautūtanga has three criteria, and to meet these practices must provide evidence of:
- A health equity policy.
- Health equity targets built into leadership goals.
- Documentation that shows that practice team members can connect their roles to the practice’s commitment to health equity outcomes.
