Kate trained as doctor in Manchuria, China and has more than 20 years’ experience working in the health sector, with a career that includes a range of clinical, corporate and governance roles. Before joining the College Kate spent time as the executive director of clinical services at Wellington Free Ambulance, director of corporate services for Mary Potter Hospice, and surgical services manager of Otago DHB.

Michael joined the College in 2014, having previously worked for the Medical Council of New Zealand, the Health and Disability Commissioner and in a public health unit.
