Nourishing the Mind – Hauora Through Kai, Whenua and Whanau is a one-day CME workshop in Gisborne exploring the links between nutritional psychiatry, gut microbiome health, soil health and mental wellbeing within a One Health framework. Designed for GPs and primary care clinicians, the programme combines evidence-informed teaching, interactive discussion and experiential learning, including a live soil microscopy demonstration. Participants will gain practical insights relevant to preventive care, lifestyle interventions and culturally responsive conversations around nutrition and wellbeing.
