This session will cover the practical assessment and management of obesity in primary care, including treatment options, referral pathways, long-term patient support, and culturally safe and equitable conversations. It will also cover the diagnosis and management of inguinal hernia, including patient counselling, current surgical approaches such as robotic repair, patient selection, benefits and limitations, pre-referral assessment, and post-operative care.
