GP21 conference registrations open

23 April 2021

The College was excited to open registrations for its GP21 conference last week. The conference will be held from 6-8 August in Wellington. Earlybird prices are available until 24 June. Register now.

The lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic and the rollout of the Health and Disability System Review has created the perfect backdrop for a gathering of New Zealand health sector representatives. We believe this event will attract high interest from a broad range of medical professionals.

Our theme for this year is:

Building for the future – transforming the health sector
Ka mate kāinga tahi, ka ora kāinga rua
(from adversity comes opportunity to make change)The Conference programme will provide a wide range of educational and informative sessions linking to this inspirational theme, ensuring plenty of opportunity for delegates to learn, share, and network.

This is New Zealand’s only national Conference that is presented by College members for College members. As such, everything in the programme has been selected with GPs’ and Rural Hospital Doctors’ interests and scope in mind. The programme will feature a mix of plenary sessions, panel discussions and practical sessions and we’re looking forward to sharing more about that in the weeks to come.
