Fitness to drive guidance
Guidance for health practitioners on the use of cognitive screening tools in fitness to drive assessments for older adults.
NZTA’s DL9 medical certificate is now digital
The digital DL9 is designed to fit within existing practice workflows. Health professionals can complete and submit the form directly through HealthLink, with patient details automatically populated and mandatory fields, helping reduce incomplete applications.
Embedded guidance links support clinical assessments, and most drivers will no longer need to carry DL9 paper forms between their health professional and licensing agent. The change will reduce administration, improve data quality, and make it easier to submit complete and accurate information.
Visit the Healthlink website for further information including user guides and FAQs.
