Runs to complete before applying for GPEP

To apply for GPEP you must have completed two postgraduate years experience in rotating hospital runs (a total of 8 runs) by the time you start your first year of specialisation.

  • Ear, nose and throat surgery

  • Obstetrics and gynaecology (can have two runs)
  • Oncology
  • Ophthalmology
  • Orthopaedics
  • Paediatrics (can have two runs)
  • Palliative Care
  • Plastics
  • Psychiatry (can have two runs)
  • Rehabilitation
  • Reliever run (one run only)
  • Renal
  • Respiratory
  • Rheumatology
  • Rural general practice (can have two runs)
  • Sexual Health
  • Urban general practice rotations (can have two runs)
